Corrugated Pallets:

What are the different types of Corrugated Sheets
used in Ecodek Pallets?

Corrugated Paper terms: The wavy paper inside the corrugated sheet is called the flutes. The flat sheets on the outside are called liners.

There are standard sizes of flutes, the ridges in the corrugated medium. Some corrugated sheets have small numbers of very large flutes; others have higher numbers of very small flutes, while some have a combination of both.

One layer of corrugated flutes glued between two flat liners forms a single wall corrugated sheet.

Single Wall corrugated sheets are typically used in lighter weight applications. By using this type of material, it allows our customers to save money, by only buying what they need.

Adding another layer of corrugated flutes and a third flat liner creates a double wall corrugated sheet. Stronger than the single wall board, it's also heavier and more expensive.

This is the most common corrugated sheet used in the construction of Ecodek CorrugatedPallets.

There are also triple wall corrugated sheets, tough boards with three layers of flutes and four flat liners, used in the construction of pallets that carry large or heavy products.

This type of corrugated sheet is also used for products that undergo a vigorous shipping method, such as LTL, Rail or Overseas shipment.
