What are the different ways Dunnage Bags are used in different type of shipments?

-
2-Ply Dunnage Air Bag Uses:

-
4-Ply Dunnage Air Bag Uses:
Here is another example of air bag positioning. This is 4 ply bags placed in two different areas to lock in the load securely.

4-Ply, 6-Ply, 8-Ply Dunnage Air Bag Uses:
Rail Car Uses (Crosswise Bracing):
Used in railcars to fill length-wise void in doorways. AAR approved when weight of load is less than 30,000 lbs. Crosswise Bracing shown in the picture, can be a combination of 4,6, or 8 ply, due to the number of bags used.

6-Ply & 8-Ply Dunnage Air Bag Uses:
Rail Car Uses (Lengthwise Bracing):
The Lengthwise bracing requires a 6 or 8 ply. The primary application for the 8 ply bag is for the shipment of roll stock in rail cars. Used in railcars to fill length-wise voides in doorways where due to severe shipping conditions, a greater amount of protection is needed.
