BEYOND THE PRICE
More Than Just a Competitive Price
Ecodek corrugated pallets offer more than competitive pricing. From clean, consistent construction to simplified international shipping, they provide practical advantages that traditional wood pallets can't always match.
Clean & Consistent
Manufactured from corrugated paperboard, Ecodek pallets offer consistent construction without the nails, splinters, and other concerns associated with wood pallets.
Export Ready
Corrugated pallets are exempt from ISPM-15 wood packaging treatment requirements, eliminating the need for heat treatment, fumigation, or treatment stamps.
Reduced Shipping Weight
Ecodek pallets weigh significantly less than traditional wood pallets, reducing the weight added to every shipment and potentially lowering transportation and handling costs.
Fully Recyclable
Made from recyclable corrugated materials, Ecodek pallets can enter established cardboard recycling streams when they're no longer needed.
designed for your application
How Pallet Design Affects Price
Every Ecodek pallet is designed around the product it supports and the equipment used to handle it. Some designs require less material and manufacturing, while others need additional construction features that increase cost.
An Economical Starting Point
Open-bottom pallets can provide excellent strength and rigidity while minimizing materials and assembly costs. When additional bottom support isn't required, an open-bottom design can be a particularly economical solution.
When the Application Requires More
Roller conveyors may require a bottom deck. Pallet jack access may require die-cut openings. Even the positioning of carton seams relative to pallet supports can influence whether a stronger top deck is necessary. Fully reversible designs and other construction features can also increase material and manufacturing costs.
Our goal isn't simply to manufacture the least expensive pallet. It's to provide the construction your application requires without adding unnecessary cost.
UNDERSTANDING PALLET COSTS
Two Factors That Make a Big Difference
While pallet construction determines material and manufacturing requirements, order volume and transportation often have the greatest influence on overall cost.
Production Volume
Manufacturing equipment requires setup time regardless of order quantity. Larger production runs spread those costs across more pallets, improving efficiency and reducing the cost per unit.
Truckload quantities, often around 500 pallets depending on the design, generally offer more economical production and shipping arrangements. Smaller quantities may be available depending on the application.
Transportation Costs
Freight can significantly influence delivered pallet costs. Shipping distance, carrier availability, transportation routes, and shipment quantities all affect freight rates.
With manufacturing facilities in West Chicago, Illinois, and Grenada, Mississippi, GreenLabel evaluates available transportation options to help customers achieve competitive delivered pricing.

Better Pricing Through Consistent Purchasing
Regular purchasing schedules can create manufacturing efficiencies that benefit both GreenLabel and our customers.
For recurring orders, we can plan material purchases and production around anticipated demand, improving efficiency while maintaining dependable supply.
Blanket orders and scheduled releases can help customers benefit from larger production quantities without receiving or storing their entire order at once.
By planning ahead, we can manufacture time-consuming components in advance, allowing us to complete final pallet assembly efficiently and meet scheduled delivery dates.
The result: More efficient production, shorter lead times, and competitive pricing.
